Privacy Policy
Kamikagu Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby sets forth this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”).
Article 1 (Personal Information)
“Personal Information” means “personal information” as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, and refers to information about a living individual which can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information and other descriptions contained in such information, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and the insurer number on a health insurance card or other information that can identify a specific individual by itself (personally identifiable information).
Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)
The Company may ask users to provide personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number when they register to use the Services.
In addition, the Company may collect transaction records that include users’ personal information and information related to payments, which are conducted between users and the Company’s partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad delivery destinations and others; hereinafter collectively referred to as “Partners”), from such Partners.
Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)
The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only if it is reasonably deemed to be related to the purpose of use before the change.
If the purpose of use is changed, the Company shall notify users of the changed purpose by the method prescribed by the Company or publicly announce it on this website.
Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company will not provide personal information to any third party without obtaining the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases and where permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and regulations:

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in the following cases, the recipient of such information shall not be deemed to be a third party:

When the Company entrusts the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use

When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons

When personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and the individual has been notified in advance, or is in a state where the individual can easily become aware, of the fact that the information will be used jointly, the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of the parties who will jointly use the information, the purpose of use by the parties, and the name or title of the party responsible for managing the personal information
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
When the Company is requested by an individual to disclose his/her personal information, the Company shall disclose such information to the individual without delay. However, the Company may decide not to disclose all or part of such information if disclosure falls under any of the following cases, and if the Company decides not to disclose it, the Company shall notify the individual without delay. A fee of 1,000 JPY per request will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.

When there is a risk of causing significant hindrance to the proper conduct of the Company’s business

When it would constitute a violation of other laws or regulations
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, in principle, the Company will not disclose information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
If a user finds that the personal information held by the Company about the user is incorrect, the user may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Correction, etc.”) such personal information in accordance with procedures specified by the Company.
Upon receiving a request as described in the preceding paragraph and determining that it is necessary to respond to such request, the Company shall promptly carry out the Correction, etc. of the relevant personal information.
When the Company has made a Correction, etc. pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to make a Correction, etc., the Company shall notify the user of such decision without delay.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)
If the Company is requested by an individual to suspend the use of or delete (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the stated purpose of use or that it has been obtained by fraudulent means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
Based on the results of the investigation, if the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company shall promptly implement the Suspension of Use, etc. of the relevant personal information.
When the Company has implemented the Suspension of Use, etc. pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to implement the Suspension of Use, etc., the Company shall notify the user of such decision without delay.
Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the Suspension of Use, etc. involves a large cost or is otherwise difficult to implement, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user can be taken, the Company shall take such alternative measures.
Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
The contents of this Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations or in this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall become effective when it is posted on this website.
